When I was contacted by Rikesh, he told me that his beautiful girlfriend Alisha is a massive fan of Italy. So what would be the best place for a memorable proposal? Florence, of course!
I was told that Alisha was unaware that Rikesh planned this trip. She thought that her friend had given them flights & hotel. They flew into Pisa and spent the weekend getaway in Florence. Rikesh asked me to help him with a decoration in a romantic, intimate and preferably private location with various photos, flowers to make it look special along with a photographer to take pictures of them in that important moment and afterwards.
To make the day even more special, their parents came from UK to Florence, too and surprised Alisha right after the proposal. It was a day to remember! To start with, we decided to hire a lovely white room in Villa Cora.
When the room was decorated, I waited for the couple to come. Alisha arrived to the villa and had no idea that behind the door we prepared a surprise of a lifetime. Rikesh reached the proposal spot first and waited for Alisha to enter. As soon as she entered, all was clear to her. She found Rikesh standing near the mirror saying Alisha, Will You Marry Me?, got closer to him and he bend down on one knee to pop the question.
She said YES!!!
To celebrate the engagement they had two glasses of champagne.
And it didn’t end here. After a few minutes parents of Rikesh & Alisha opened the door and Alisha was utterly chocked to see them. What a beautiful family! Look how much they all enjoyed that moment together.
To remember this day, we took some lovely engagement photos around the villa and rain didn’t stop us at all …
