We all know that Positano is a breathtaking little beach town located in Amalfi Coast famous for its colorful houses. It’s also a popular destination for couples looking for a romantic getaway. Some couples choose Positano as a picture-perfect spot for a memorable marriage proposal and I confirm that opinion.
This May I had a couple coming to Italy for a trip consisting of multiple days in Florence, Rome and the Amalfi Coast. When Joey contacted me he had it in his head that he wanted to do it on the beach in Positano followed by photoshoot and dinner. He was open to some of my thoughts and ideas and so after some emails we shared, we decided to create a romantic setting on the beach overlooking the beautiful houses of Positano.
To spice it up, we had a violinist playing they favorite songs and had a love letter written by a calligrapher. I decorated the spot with some flowers, beach items and photos to make it more personal and waited to meet them in person.
Giving that the couple was accommodated in Sorrento, we hired a private boat transfer to pick them up and drop them off directly in Positano.
Here you can see that Natalie had no clue about the surprise.
With an excuse to participate in a wine tasting experience near the beach, I met them pretending to be a guide. Little did Natalie know that I was actually walking towards the biggest surprise in her life.
When Natalie realized that something very special was about to happen, Joey started to read the letter to express his love.
… and then it happened. He got down on one knee and popped that big question.
Did Natalie say yes? Of course, she DID!
After the YES we opened a bottle of prosecco to celebrate this special moment.
… and the engagement photos session could start. Look how many beautiful pictures we took with this lovely couple. Aren’t they amazing?
I was truly happy to be a part of their special day. Not only it was my pleasure to work on this proposal but also I was happy to know such a beautiful couple. I wish you all the best Joey & Natalie!
