You probably know that Italy is one of the most romantic destinations in the world for honeymoons, weddings and also marriage proposals. Many couples head towards the Amalfi Coast to experience an extraordinary time with their partners and it’s because of breathtaking panoramas, delicious food and relaxing atmosphere.
When Ryan contacted, he wrote to me that he and his girlfriend Pauline will be visiting Positano in June. He wanted to propose on the first day of their stay so he could enjoy the rest of the vacation with less stress. What I knew was that they both loved ocean, warm weather, boats and good food. Ryan preferred proposing on a private spot and wanted it to be romantic. I sent him several options for a magical proposal and he picked this gorgeous seaside location in Maiori. I think they both will remember this day forever. What do you think? Let’s see together how it all went.
I set up the location with red rose flower decoration, red petals and a gold sign saying: Will You Marry Me?
Our plan was to bring Pauline to this location with an excuse to have dinner in a restaurant which was reachable with a boat only. We booked a private boat in Positano and they were dropped off in front of the restaurant. I welcomed them playing a part of the staff and told them to follow me. When we reached a tranquil spot I offered them a glass of water and Ryan asked me for a bathroom. It was actually a perfect excuse to reach the proposal spot first. Ryan waited for Pauline while I was talking to Pauline. After a few minutes we reached Ryan and the rest went like this:
He got down on one knee and popped the question and of course Pauline said YES!

While the couple was taking engagement photos around the area, I prepared a romantic table setting for a candlelight dinner by the sea.
