I have no words to describe how gorgeous was Sam & Olivia’s proposal last weekend in Villa Cimbrone. The proposal was a fairytale and I couldn’t wait to share all details with you!
Sam contacted me asking help in planning his proposal somewhere with a fantastic view. From the very beginning he liked the idea of proposing on the Infinity terrace in Villa Cimbrone. Those who know the Villa, know very well that the view from that place is just amazing. Sam and I got in touch via emails and we also talked a lot about the best location for his proposal but nothing could beat his initial idea of proposing on the Infinity terrace. When we were sure about the proposal spot, we decided to spice that big moment up with a love letter written by a professional calligrapher and a flower bouquet. Letters are a great way to express your feelings in such an emotional moment.
So back to the story.
To keep it a secret, Sam told Olivia that he booked a guided tour of the Villa Cimbrone. When they reached the entrance, I welcomed them and presented myself as a guide. Olivia had no clue that we prepared a huge surprise for her. While we were walking towards the proposal spot we chatted a lot and slowly arrived at the perfect place where Sam was supposed to pop that all important question.
At the certain point, I gave the letter to Olivia and she just couldn’t understand what was happening. She started reading it …
The love letter is a grand gesture ! You can always look back on it for years to come.
When Olivia finished reading the letter, Sam got down on one knee and asked Olivia to marry him. What a picture perfect proposal was this, wasn’t it?
It was so emotional to see Olivia’s reaction. She was speechless!

The beauty of Villa Cimbrone is not only in the terrace but it’s the entire garden that offers endless romantic corners for an engagement photo shoot.
To finish this day with magic, Sam booked a private candlelight dinner in Hotel Caruso overlooking the Amalfi Coast. Look how romantic was the setting! Flowers, candles and excellent food …
