Choosing a beautiful location for your proposal in Tuscany can be rather challenging. When I received an email from Marshall, he told me that he would like to propose to his girlfriend when visiting Tuscany. He was completely overwhelmed with the number of locations and ideas. He somewhat had an idea of what he would like to do, but he needed some additional help. First of all, Marshall wanted his proposal to be romantic, intimate and more importantly it should happen in a winery. His idea was to start with a private evening wine tasting tour and finish it in one of the wine cellars, where they would walk in, find candles lit and where he would pop the question to his beautiful girlfriend Kaitlyn. He wanted his proposal to be captured by a photographer and take more pictures afterward with the sunset. To finish this day, a private candlelight dinner in a wine cellar couldn’t miss.
To plan this wine cellar marriage proposal, I suggested a few locations to Marshall. He chose the one that was very close to his accommodation and therefore easy to reach by a car. Giving that the couple had visited various vineyards in Tuscany, Kailyn didn’t expect anything particular on this day at all. She thought Marshall invited her for another wine tasting experience in Tuscany. They got ready, grabbed the car and reached the location.
Upon the arrival, there was me for the warm welcome. I presented them a private sommelier for the tour and the photographer who was included in this experience as ‘a bonus for the reportage photography’. They didn’t mind and started the tour with a glass of white wine overlooking the vineyards.

Marshall got down on one knee and popped the question.
Kaitlyn said YES and I was so happy to be a part of this special day!
After the engagement, the newly-engaged couple went out to take more pictures at sunset. Look how sweet they are.
They had more wine …
… and while they were taking the pictures I was preparing the table for a romantic candlelight dinner in the wine cellar.
