Guru & Saarah - Colosseum wedding proposal, Rome

What is the most romantic spot to propose in Rome? Well, many of you asked me this question and it’s always hard to respond as Rome is full of romantic corners. If I had to choose one, it would be Colosseum. To make your wedding proposal at the Colosseum romantic and intimate, do it at sunset as the atmosphere changes a lot. Hire a private terrace to avoid people around you and hire a proposal planner to decorate the ambience with flowers and photos of you and your girlfriend. It’s all so easy!

When Guru contacted me, he was amazed by the idea of proposing on the terrace. He really loved it. So how it all happened?

Well, Guru invited Saarah for a wine tasting experience and dinner. She had to dress nicely and when they arrived at the proposal spot I had to meet them pretending to be the sommelier. I accommodated them at the table and Guru asked me for a washroom. I pointed him the terrace so he could arrive at the proposal spot first and get ready for the big step in his life. While I was with Saarah, we had a short chat and at a certain point I gave her a mysterious letter. It was actually the first message Guru ever sent to Saarah and he wanted me to hand it to her. I gave it to Saarah, she read the letter and looked at me very confused. I told her to follow me.

To make the whole atmosphere even more romantic, we had a violinist on the terrace, too who played their favorite songs. As you can see from the below photos, Saarah didn’t expect anything like this and when she spotted Guru she slowly got closer to him.
