Everyone’s crazy about Lake Como! It’s a tranquil romantic retreat with magnificent villas, breathtaking landscapes offering perfect spots for memorable wedding proposals. As soon as you get to Lake Como you may feel that touch of glamour and exclusivity. It’s famed for its atmospheric sense of calm especially in certain time of the year. If you decide to do some sightseeing of the Lake with a boat then it’s undoubtebly the best experience you may get.
Taran visited Lake Como one year before his proposal and he just fell in love with that place. He found it beautiful and romantic. It was March and the lake was nothing then quiete, still and peaceful. Taran’s idea was to propose on the boat overlooking the landscapes and I couldn’t do anything else then fulfill his dream.
In order to create the best memories for the sweet couple, we had to figure out how to surprise Baldeep without any suspicion. We wanted to get the best photos from that day so we actually had to plan a ‘fake’ boat tour with a photographer on the board. The couple met the boat driver in the early morning hours in Cernobbio and started the tour discovering the lake and villas. At noon they stopped in Bellagio for a small coffee break and met their personal photographer who was supposed to capture some beautiful moments while touring on the boat. Baldeep had no clue that Simone (the photographer) got on the boat to capture that once-in-a-lifetime moment. Once the boat driver arrived at the proposal spot, stopped the boat, got the bunch of flowers and gave it to Taran. Taran prepared a small note expressing his love to Baldeep that was given to her with red roses. Once she finished reading those touching words, Taran got on one knee and asked that all-important question – Will You Marry Me?
Baldeep said YES!!!
