*** This marriage proposal was realized in collaboration with the UK Proposal Planners The Proposers.
When The Proposers got in touch with me, they specified that their client would like to propose at the piazzale Michelangelo square in Florence. They wanted to include a musician singing ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran and a photographer/videographer to capture the moment.
Rikesh wanted to enjoy a romantic meal with Davina at the restaurant La Loggia, which is located only a few meters from the square. At the beginning they thought to go out after dinner and reach the square where they would meet a busker singing a song of their choice. We changed it a little bit and decided to the proposal before dinner so we had great lighting to capture the happy faces of the special moment.
Our plan was very simple and Rikesh did a great job to follow each step. He had to convince Davina to dress nicely for dinner, get at the piazzale Michelangelo and look for me holding a sign saying ‘Perfect’. The sign was actually the proposal spot. When Rikesh spotted the sign, he started to walk slowly towards me. The singer started to sing. I passed to Rikesh the flash cards and he flipped the cards over till he got to the last one saying ‘Davina, Will You Marry Me?’
Rikesh opened his engagement box, gave a flower bouquet to Davina and popped the question.
Davina said YES!!!

… and to make this day even more special, we took some more photos around the area and finished it with a romantic candlelight dinner overlooking Florence.
