Portofino, this beautiful small village located in Liguria, has always been a place for leisure for famous people and artists. It’s one of the most romantic destination on earth. It’s unique. It’s intimate. It’s magical.
This jewel of the Italian Riviera has a small harbor, a breathtaking landscape and spectacular view. And this is what makes Portofino a perfect destination for a memorable marriage proposal.
George contacted me 5 days before his arrival to Italy. He needed my help to arrange a romantic proposal during his stay in Portofino with his girlfriend. Considering the short notice, I did my best to comunicate with him also via WhatsApp so we could decide on the proposal spot and details in time.
Giving that Portofino is a very small village, there aren’t many options where to propose privately. The best spot, from my point of view is the terrace in Castello Brown. It’s a medieval castle on the top of the hill with a stunning view over the Gulf in Portofino.
When Aziza arrived at the Castle, she thought they would do the private tour of the Castle. Instead of the tour we prepared an unexpected surprise for her. When George arrived at the proposal spot, the small balcony with an amazing view, Aziza turned and found George on one knee. The photographer captured that picture-perfect moment and you can now be only inspired by this magical moment. How romantic do you find it?
George popped the question and Aziza said a big YES!
The moments of joy and pure happiness! That’s the proposal goal!
By the way, did you notice how gorgeous is Aziza’s engagement ring? I love that green emerald engagement ring. It’s so unique.
The proposal didn’t finish here. We arranged for a romantic table for two overlooking Portofino to celebrate the engagement with a typical Italian aperitif. And being in Liguria, bruschetta with pesto couldn’t miss on the table. Doesn’t it look delicious?
