What’s the best way to plan a romantic picnic proposal in Rome? It’s important to choose the right location – a place that’s quiet or even secluded. Have some food in your picnic basket and a fresh bottle of champagne to celebrate the ‘yes’!
When Sam contacted me, he was very determined about his proposal idea. Sam and his beloved Rebecca, came to Rome for a summer holiday and Sam wanted to surprise Rebecca not only with a picnic proposal but also include a violinist to play their favorite songs.
We had a lovely sunny day on the day of the proposal. I created a beautiful picnic setup just before their arrival at the meeting point.
When I met the couple, I pretended to be a tour guide so Rebecca couldn’t expect anything. She really thought I was about to show her Rome until we crossed the park and she saw the picnic setting and she realized that something is going on …
They both got closer to the picnic setting, Sam got down on one knee and Rebecca said YES!
What a surprise …
After the proposal, the newly-engaged couple sat down and enjoyed the picnic. Sam started to talk about the planning and who in family knew about the surprise.
