David & Amber - Private rooftop proposal with an explosion box, Rome

David & Amber were one of these couples that planned their summer vacation to Italy. They spent a few days in Rome and David wanted to take advantage of this romantic getaway and propose to Amber. At the beginning, he didn’t know where to start from but after my questions I sent him, he revealed that he would like to book a photographer and a private rooftop. I sent him some ideas and he opted for a private terrace overlooking the Eternal City. And he did well as we were able to prepare for a beautiful surprise to Amber. She had no idea about his plans.

In terms of decoration, it’s very important to know what color or flowers your lady prefers. I knew Amber loves purple and so I did my best to include it everywhere.

The private terrace wasn’t the only surprise we planned for. As the wow factor, David chose a personalized explosion box where we put some pictures, love quotes and Will You Marry Me? phrase. All in purple obviously!

In many cases, my clients say to their girlfriends to dress nicely for the occasion saying that they booked a romantic dinner or aperitif where dress code is requested. It’s fundamental that your lady looks awesome on the pictures. The same happened with David and Amber. He told her to get ready for an aperitif so when we meet she thought I was one of the staff to welcome them upon their arrival. I showed them the way to reach the terrace but at the certain point, David went to a washroom for a second (the truth was he reached the proposal spot) and I stayed with Amber. After a couple of minutes I said Amber to follow me. She had no idea that I told her to climb the stairs on the terrace where David was ready to ask that important question. He was a little bit nervous but it was worth it.
