We all look for a happily ever after. We all need a person to share a life with but it’s not always that easy to find that right partner. Today, I’d like to share with you engagement story that was truly special to me. It’s a story about two souls that have decided to spend their lives together at the same time. How?
It all started with an unusual request …
I often get contacted by a man who would like to propose to his girlfriend but this time it was Kim who decided to move on and get down on one knee. This important gesture was because Kim wanted to let Bruno know that she chose him for the rest of her life and she wanted to keep him forever. Kim’s intention was to propose on their trip to Europe. Giving that Bruno’s cultural background was Italian, Italy was therefore a perfect proposal spot.
Kim and I communicated through emails and WhatsApp messages / calls. When I talked to her, I found her so sweet and nice that I just couldn’t wait to meet her in person. She explained me how she imagined the day and what she wanted to include in the proposal. Her idea was a beach proposal. She sent me a sketch of how she wanted to decorate the beach and my job was to make her dream reality. Our first step was to find a perfect location. We chose a stunning venue near Rome called La Posta Vecchia.
The proposal should happen on a private beach that we found ideal for the surprise. Kim’s plan was to convince Bruno that they won a challenge. The prize was a romantic dinner in a special location including a photographer, personal driver and assistant. When Bruno and Kim reached the destination, I welcomed them upon their arrival. Then we walked to the garden and started with the aperitif. Bruno was totally speechless. He just couldn’t believe his eyes. He was literally amazed by the location.
Right after their aperitif, I told them to follow me as I wanted to show them the sunset. Little did Bruno know that our plan was to bring him to the private beach where everything was ready for the surprise proposal.
I set up the beach as planned with Kim: with personal messages talking about their relationship leading to the proposal spot where Kim was supposed to get down on one knee and say some touching words to Bruno. To spice it up, Kim wanted to include a red rose at the proposal spot – a touch of the Beauty and the Beast decoration.
Bruno, Kim and I walked down to the beach.
… and Kim smiled because she knew …
Bruno started to read the messages till he realized that they were there for him …
They slowly reached the proposal spot, Kim got down on one knee and let Bruno know the reason she was proposing. She said, it was the best decision she had ever made in her life.
Look how emotional was that moment …
It didn’t end here.
When Kim finished her speech something unexpected happened. We didn’t have any idea that Bruno was planning on proposing to Kim as well. He suddenly put his hand in the pocket, grabbed the engagement box, got down on one knee and proposed to Kim. We just couldn’t believe!
The surprise ended with double proposal.
Two words: true LOVE!
My heart was filled with joy.
Double congratulations, Kim & Bruno! You both said YES!
To end this epic proposal, we took some extra photos of the newly-engaged couple before they reached the restaurant for a candlelight dinner overlooking the sea.
You guys were truly special to me. I wish you all happiness and joy you deserve!
