As a professional proposal planner, I’m used to receiving emails where guys ask me to prepare a truly romantic marriage proposal and literally create a memorable story. Some proposal stories are so amazing that you can feel that power of love. Guys always look for the best way to express their feelings and how to say those four magic words when popping the question.
Let’s be inspired by my picnic proposal I arranged for a cute Swedish couple Roni & Amanda.
When I sent some of my proposal suggestions to Roni, he really liked the idea of proposing in the beautiful Villa Borghese garden. I love this place as it gives various possibilities for a magical proposal and even if it’s a public place it still offers some spots that are not too crowded and can be ideal for an ‘intimate’ engagement. Roni also requested a photographer to capture those moments in order to remember that day forever.
Once we found the proposal spot, we had to focus on the wow factor – the actual proposal surprise and make the whole day super special. We all know that details are always important and those are the ones that make your engagement unforgettable. Proposal setting was set just a few meters from the stunning Galleria Borghese, a famous art Gallery in Rome. Not only Roni & Amanda enjoyed the importance of the proposal spot but also the desire to be surrounded by nature.
I think Roni opted for a pretty good idea to surprise Amanda with a picnic setting. He told me what he preferred to have served while having the picnic, taking care of any food allergies. Champagne couldn’t miss on the list to raise the glasses and toast the engagement.
While I was waiting for Roni and Amanda on our meeting point, the photographer was already ready to capture every moment when approaching the picnic area. When we reached the proposal spot, Roni went down on one knee and asked Amanda to marry him. She was so happy and said ‘YES’.
… and after that ‘YES’ they enjoyed the picnic in peace and joy.
Roni & Amanda decided to keep the photos private. However, I can share with you the two pictures we took while walking to one of the most romantic rooftop restaurant overlooking Rome – Mirabelle, where they celebrated their engagement.
