Jozef was the one whose dream was to propose to his lovely girlfriend Jorinde on the Lake Como. To turn his dream into reality I helped Jozef with the package: My ideas/Your planning:
- I sent him an email a questionnaire in order to find out more about the couple
- I created 3 ideas personalized to their relationship and once he chose the idea to go with I described the scenery (step-by-step)
- I helped Jozef to find the accommodation
- I passed him all contacts so he could finish the final bookings and so he could also get in touch with the suppliers
Jozef booked a room in the beautiful hotel by the lake – Hotel Belvedere
We planned for a boat tour on a riva boat with a private boat driver who took them around the lake to visit one of the beautiful villas – Villa del Balbianello
After they visited the Villa, Jozef and Jorinde got back on the boat where Jozef popped the question privately. And she said: ‘YES’
We are a couple from Amsterdam and I wanted to surprise my girlfriend with a romantic proposal during our long weekend break in Lago di Como, Italy. I do not speak Italian and I wanted something special, but how am I going to do this with only 3wks to go? A friend of mine told me about Martina and I contacted her. She reacted immediately and went to work straight away. In a few days she worked out some scenario’s. I loved them all, but one of them stood out. My girlfriend loves boats so a private boat ride over Lago di Como was a great way to surprise her. I love Riva boats, so Martina arranged an old Italian wooden speed boat perfect for the proposal. I booked a very nice hotel in a small romantic town along the lake, Bellagio. Hotel Belvedere has beautiful gardens, which I knew my girlfriend would love. It was close to the old town centre and harbour. Thats where I agreed to meet with the boat driver Filippo on the first day of our trip. This way we would have five days to enjoy our engagement if she said yes… After relaxing a bit by the pool I took her for a walk to town. Fillipo was already there and his boat was perfectly parked in front of Bellagio. We had the whole boat for our selfs only accompanied by two glasses and a cold bottle in ice. Ready to explore the lake. Fillipo took us around the lake, showed some of the coolest villa’s and stopped at Villa Balbiadienne where we went for a brief strawl around the villa garden. Back in the boat I popped the question. My girlfriend was super surprised and between catching her breath she said yes! We opened the bottle to celebrate and Filippo, who was very discreet on just the right moments, took some lovely pictures. It was perfect. My girlfriend had a great time, a beautiful ring and we both had the experience we will never forget. Lago di Como is in our hearts forever. And we thank Martina for the excellent assistance.
